Why Choose Our Salt for Water Softeners?

Protect Your Warranty

Using non-Culligan Harvey or non-Grade A salt can invalidate your warranty. Cheaper soft water salts alternatives often contain insoluble matter that can clog and damage parts of your water softener.

Premium Quality

Our Grade A salt is precisely compressed to prevent it from turning into sludge, unlike some lower-quality alternatives available online.

What kind of water softener salt do you need?

Harvey Water Softener Salt range, including block salt and pellets

Low-quality salt can void your water softener warranty

Water softener salt comes in various forms, including block, curve, tablet, and granular, each tailored for specific machine types.

The key factor is salt quality. Using lower-quality salt can damage your machine over time, reduce the effectiveness of soft water in your home, and void your Culligan Harvey warranty.

Water Softener Salt FAQs

Orders can take up to several days in general, however if you place your order before 9AM you are eligible for next working day delivery.

All our salts are grade-A quality and compatible with most water softeners. Harvey Mini Curve Salt is best for the HarveyArc water softener, as the larger salt load will last longer and is most efficient.

While newer water softeners are more efficient, it’s still vital to add salt every 6-8 weeks in order to maintain your water softener and allow for regeneration.

No salt means your water softener will not function properly, leaving you open to the risks associated with hard water:

  • Less efficiency in your heating and water systems
  • Eventual blockages and limescale
  • Increased time and budget spent on cleaning limescale throughout your kitchen and bathroom
